Tips to Prevent Getting an Infectious Disease While on Vacation

Dr. Brent W. Laartz thought he was in for the ride of his lifetime when he set out on a horseback riding excursion in Costa Rica.

Admittedly younger and more naïve than he is today, Laartz – an infectious disease specialist and author of the book How to Avoid Contagious Diseases…

Subscribed to your blog! My husband and I are total foodies. Looking forward to trying out some of these recipes. Thanks! BTW, your cakes are amazing!
My blog is Happily Ever After at www.ashleyladd.blogspot.com. I'm a romance writer and my stories always have a happily ever after.

I write about romance novels and writing because I'm a published romance writer. I want to let readers know about my books, how I come up with my stories, the real person behind my books, and sometimes the craft of writing. I write about what it's like to be a writer who has a real life and a family and a day job.

Sometimes I interview other authors, writers, and editors.

Other writers and readers tend to be my visitors. Several have befriended me.

I try to write a post daily but at least 3 or 4 posts weekly.

Sometimes I hold contests and give away a free book to one of my fans.

This Monday, July 13, 2009 my next book releases "Doggy Style" at http://www.total-e-bound.com so I'll be talking about my story and giving free excerpts.

My blog is http://thriftycraftmama.blogspot.com and it's about my life as a thrifty, craft-loving mom of two toddlers with baby 3 on the way. I picked the topic because I love making and doing crafts with/for my kids. Crafting isn't very popular in my local community, so I was hoping for (and found!) an online community of people with similar interests. I write posts most weekdays. I get 80-90 unique visitors per day, and most of them are not people I know in real life. I have quite a few regular visitors now, and I really enjoy reading their comments and visiting their blogs.
My blog is www.imasleeperbaker.blogspot.com. the title is a combination of my maiden and married names.

I started blogging mainly to clear my head. I moved from NYC to Central NY four years ago, and I love to write about my favorite things: food, running, music, books, my kids, the outdoors, movies.

I like to include pictures with my posts, and I usually post four times a week.

Most of my visitors are people I haven't met.

* Why you chose that topic to blog about:I chose to write about single motherdom and being the Only Active Parent (O.A.P.) I call it. Not only am I a single parent. I'm the ONLY parent. This presents a unique set of challenges (and advantages).

* How many posts you write a week 4-5 posts a week
* Do you get visitors to your blog (besides family and friends: Maybe 2 visitors that have commented recently? :(
I would like it to become a place for information and interaction for OAP's. Opies!
Ok, I'll tell you, but I feel shameless! LOL

Let me know if I can be of service to anyone.

Hi Deb.

The name of my blog is Makasha Dorsey and the URL is www.makashadorsey.com - I have a big ego. (LOL)

I don't blog about me, I blog about whats on my mind. Sometimes its daily, weekly, monthly or whenevern I have something to say.

Yes. I average about 20 hits a day. However, there are times when I receive 50 or more.

I decided to keep everything in one place ... managing multiple blogs did not work for me because I do most of my work off-line for small businesses. I am a write-at-home-mom of two boys, ages 5 and 2, and the wife of a collegiate coach.
Well, i have two separate blogs!!
1. http://armywifethegoodthebadandtheugly.blogspot.com/ is called Army Wife 2009 and it's about the good, bad and ugly of being the wife of a soldier

2. http://amommyslife2009.blogspot.com/ is called a mommys life. It's about the life of a mom of 4 and the wife of a soldier

i have one follower on one blog and two on the other so its slow but picking up. These blogs are about my life and i want to share my way of life to people who can get a better understanding of military life and moms who have quite a few kiddos. I try to post each day sometimes will be more than once a day.
My blog is Baby GoodBuys, and can be found at www.babygoodbuys.com.

Official Description: Baby GoodBuys is a website devoted to helping parents become savvy spenders. Most readers are moms or expectant parents. Baby GoodBuys’ content includes postings on baby, child and maternity bargains both online and in stores, product reviews and giveaways. In addition, glimpses into everyday life as a parent are incorporated into the content to help other parents relate.

I chose to blog about baby bargains because I was finding the most amazing deals on popular baby items on my own, and I couldn't find another deal website that was hitting on all of the same stuff I was finding! I wanted to share my knowledge with other parents. It's really been fun getting to know my readers and listening to their needs as my website evolves.

I post a LOT, average is probably 3 times a day.
Most of my visitors are not my family and friends! I get about 22,000 unique visitors a month

Hi! I'm a newbie :) I have a Eco-friendly review, giveaway, deals, freebie, life with a 2 yr old and more blog. We are a green family, so I decided to inform readers of how to become more Eco-friendly without breaking the bank. I try to post daily or every other day. I just started a month and a half ago and am loving every minute of it! Please check me out at:

I have two blogs. The one I am the most active in is my book blog.
http://booknerdextraordinaire.blogspot.com/
I chose it because I love to read, write and since I am unemployed I actually have the TIME to do what I dreamed of and that is to review books!
The amount of posts per week depends. I get several visitors a week. It's new and now that I am gaining a nice following I am going to host more giveaways! I have one going now, check it out! wink wink!

The second one is a personal blog about the trials and tribulations my daughter and I go through since she was shaken as a baby.

Not a lot of traffic. The topic is obvious.
