I'm trying to unite the parent blogging community...Sure, I'm just a simple Daddy Blogger, and maybe I'm not going to be welcome here, but I think moms and dads all have a lot of great things to talk about.
My blog is call Daddy's Tired and I chose a parenting blog because I am a new dad and I needed a place to vent when things get tough.
I write 2-3 posts a week and I have a column over at the Dad blogs Community which is open to all parents.
I do get a few visitors to my blog and I find the more I comment on other blogs, the more people visit mine. I hope you can check it out.
I just started my own personal/mommy blog. I love to write and have found this, so far, to be an enjoyable outlet for my many mommy emotions. I add a post to my home page just about every night and, as soon as I figure out how to add multiple posts to my other pages, will be adding weekly posts to several of those as well. I include a photo here and there but would love to add an entire gallery, again I just have to figure out how to do it.
The site is fresh and, as such, I still have to build up a readership.
My material surrounds, of course, my family. What makes us different IS our family. Life so far has been an incredible journey and I am honored to be able to share that.
I write about my mommy moments good bad and indifferent, Being a mom is the most important part of my life so it is natural and heartfelt for me to share the ups, downs and everything inbetween. If my experience or lack of can help someone else then that is even better.
I do get visitors to my blog, (not many and I have about 80 followers but I do not think they read blog everyday )as a matter of fact I have not told most of friends and family that I am blogging don't want them to feel like they have to read it, or say something good when they really think my writing stinks or whatever.
I post everyday sometime twice a day (except when I was on vacation last week I took off for the whole 5 days wow)
Since all of my money goes to either tuition,my kids or tequila, that's what I blog about.
I am a procrasto-master, and therefore post usually 3-6 times per week. I have been up less than a month, and so far have a total hit number of 2600(?) Response has been positive, and I have 2 more years of University to procrastinate my way through, so... I'll be at it for a while.
I post photo tips for everyday shooting. Mostly centering on daily snapshots, natural light portraits, vacation and events/celebrations. I try to post once a week. I am not sure my followers are steady readers. But I hope so. I will be posting photo assignments soon and hope people will come back frequently to learn how to take better photos.
Motherhood Is Amazing http://motherhoodisamazing.blogspot.com
I chose to write about motherhood and family life because it the thing in my life that I have the most passion for. I love being a mother and I like sharing my experiences and advice with others while listening to what they have to say.
I try to post 6 or 7 times a week.
I get visitors other than frinds or family but I am desperatly trying to increase traffic to my site.
Your blog is fantastic! That Diego cake is insane! The pictures alone of your dishes are amazing.
I am new to the blogging scene and just launched my own.
I am a mom of two beautiful children and I plan to write about 3 posts a week. I write about this crazy thing we call motherhood, but I keep it truly authentic, integrating the ups and downs of mommyhood.
I chose to blog about this because I am an avid freebie/coupon finder. I've been doing this for 8 yrs, I've had websites and I have a newsletter. I recently started blogging in March 2008, and really enjoy it. Finding freebies, coupons and more was a hobby and quickly became something I wanted to tell everyone about.
I get about 500 visitors a month. I just don't get a lot of comments unfortunately. I would love to increase my traffic. If you visit my blog, any pointers on making it better would be greatly appreciated.
I recently gave my blog an updated layout, trying to look more professional. Please stop by and check it out. Grab some freebies/coupons while you're there.
I started it because I wanted to connect with others going through similar experiences. I write what I know & so I write about my quest for the Holy Grail of Motherhood, the having it all-doing it all mystery that I have yet to find it. Essentially I am trying to be a stay-at-home Mom with a career & fabulous life, I know totally realistic.
I love to share information on family life, mothering, & media takes on parenting from my pov & stories about everday life as I experience it between my work, home, 4 kids under 6, & Hubby in the mix. I try to see humor through the piles of papers, diapers, and mini-vans that have taken over my life.
I had toyed with the idea of starting a blog for about a year before I finally took the plunge at the start of June. It's addictive, like the number of degrees & kids I have, I couldn't stop once I started.
I post on average 2 times a day & more than just my Mom reads. Although she does read, which is a whole other anxiety attack. Why is it that I can easily write for total strangers but the thought of my Mom reading sends me into a panic? The joys of the mother-daughter bond.
I started it in May when my son turned 1. So many funny and interesting things happened during his first year that I wished I wrote it down -so I decided to start. My hope is that the blog will eventually turn into a parenting book. I try to post at least three times a week - this does not always happen. The majority of my visitors are not family and friends.
I'm really enjoying writing this blog and if the book doesn't work out at the very least my son will have a record of his early years - hope you stop by.
