I am a biological and step mother to four children that live with us full time. Two of my children are dyslexic. One of my children fights depression. I work full time and am trying to make it through life one step at a time.

Tennis Misfit Mom

I chose the topic because so many other tennis mom's also had the same questions about choosing tournaments, training, and just comparing notes on players challenges. The number of posts varies- during the peak tournament season (May - Sept) I usually post several times a week, during the non - peak season maybe a few times per month.

Yes, we get visitors that aren't friends and family- typically other players we meet at tournaments, coaches, etc.
My blog started out as a promotion for Healthy Chocolate, but grew into more nutrition and health facts and hints...so I recently changed the name from dchealthychocolateblog to healthynutritionhints.com - It is about Healthy Chocolate and more....

I love to teach and educate people about their health and how to maintain their health at it's optimum level without going crazy, everything in moderation:)
My blog is http://dandeliondayz.com

I love to talk about my family, faith and just life. I started blogging about a year ago and blog every day. It is a fun way for me to release what is in my head!

I get lots of visitors and have made many new friends by blogging.
I would love for you to stop by!
My personal blog is http://survivingathome.com and it's just my random thoughts about life as a stay at home mom. Last time I checked my stats I actually had about 250 visitors for the month.

I also blog at http://wonderyearsradio.com which is my podcast about elementary school education. I've worked harder on that traffic, which is over 4,000 unique visitors per month.

Great topic, Deb! Can't wait to check out everybody's blogs!
Blog Name: Tishia Lee - Adventures of a Single WAHM
Blog URL: http://www.tishialee.com

Why I chose to blog about this: I've been a single mom since 6 days before my son's first birthday (he will be 10 in September) so writing about the day in and day out activities of being a single mom was the most logical thing to write about. Lord knows there are trials and tribulations that I face each and every day (as do all moms!).

How often do I post: Sometimes I post every single day other times I post a couple times in one day and skip a couple other days during the week. It just really depends on my mood and whether I feel like blogging or not.

Do you get visitors to your blog besides family and friends: Yes

Tish :-)
Hey Guys! My blog is called Happy Meals and Happy Hour www.happymealsandhappyhour.blogspot.com
I think I'm pretty funny...my 10 year old says I'm immature. I post about things that amuse me or annoy me, lots of times I write about what a tool I am (like my latest post about crushing on Steve from Blues Clues). I try to write every couple of days - I do get visitors who seem to get a chuckle which makes my day. So come visit!
Funny blog! And excellent name - Happy Meals and Happy Hour. =)
hi, im abigail... and my blog is Piece of Cake ~ Semi-homemade Birthday Parties

since my daughter (now 6) turned one, i have been enjoying the art of throwing homemade birthday parties. i have found that choosing an original birthday party theme as opposed to a franchise character theme is not only really fun, but challenging as well!

i am hoping that with my brand new blog, mommies can see how easy and creative (and cheap too) it is to throw their child a unique party that everyone will be talking about for years to come... check it out!
My blog:

I just blogged about my life it varies from parenting to cooking to photography just write what interests you! I write about every other day if not everyday. I get about 200 unique visitors daily not including friends and family IRL.
Hello Deb, I just joined this group. My name is Jane, I am a mom of 4 kids, ages 14,16,17 and 20. My blog is Two & Two = Nine (Jane's Blog) @ tipsandtells.blogspot.com. I started with a website on childcare with my best friend of 37 years, and decided to add a blog to it. The blog is just about life with my family and friends. I blog about 4 to 5 times a week, I also work part time. I just started the blog in May, so I am pretty much just testing the water.
Hi, Deb, great idea. I'm going to have to go through this list myself.

I blog a mix of family life, home schooling and books. I like blogs that offer I bit of the writer's personality along with info. I can use, like books/reading.

Posts per week: 3 to 4

Visitors: lol yes

Additional info: I do occasionally give away books. Next month I have a new book by Dr. Gary Chapman, Love as a Way of Life, so if that sounds like something you would like, stop by.
