My son is soooooooo testing us right now. He thinks everything is a debate- which its not.
If I say the sky is blue, he will say green just to see what I do. Its like that Bugs Bunny&Donald Duck skit...he says no, I say yes..no/yes..no/yes...then I say yes...he says no...yes/no..yes/no...I know it is a phase...but man, move on already!

My oldest daughter used to test me all of the time. She thought she was so smart. But my husband and I had to nip it in the bud, because we couldn't have her thinking she had the upper hand. We both became really stern with her and told her to knock it off!
Yes, that is what we are doing....but I feel like such a bitXX ...Some of these contests are over such dumb things... I know he will eventually come to realize this .....but in the meantime, it stinks.
