How to Through A Larger Than Life Small Wedding on a Budget

This one is as simple as crowdfunding your honeymoon. It might sound strange at first, but do you really need another blender or set of dinner plates? Instead of having your guests purchase a bunch of things you’ll end up trying to return anyway, why not let them chip in for…

How Due Date Calculators Can Change Your Pregnancy for the Better

What is your opinion of "get paid to post" type sites?

Do you participate in any?

Which ones?

Are you making any money off them?

I participate in a few and I only accept posts that I can make relevant to my site or at least provide a paragraph or 2 of entertainment for my readers. I know some people are strongly against "get paid to post" type sites because they believe you are endorsing a product that you haven't reviewed. Personally I don't see any difference between a paid post and Adsense ads, except a paid post guarantees you some money, Adsense required people to click on an ad. I never endorse the product or services I write about in a paid post unless I have used them, I simply introduce them in the text of my post without bias either way.

What are your thoughts?

I can understand why the SEO people get upset about paid blogging but it's sort of like TV. You are the show and the paid posts are "mini commercials".

I participate in several but I only accept relevant links for all those places. There is one place that pays me so much per link and I make a HUGE amount of money with them. If you're a good writer, you'll be able to insert those links appropriately, if you're not, then you'll have a spammy blog.

I have made it very clear from day one that I am out to make some money and that there will be some paid posts. My regular readers know this and either look at the link or move right past it. New readers, I hope, can't tell much difference in what my paid links look like compared to my regular ones:)

Here's my example of a paid link fitted in appropriately.

If they work for stay-at-home Moms, then why not? It's a good way for them to earn money at the same time and have more time with their kids.

One of my site is participating that "get paid to post" but I pick which one to I write nowadays. One time, I participated a post about a gravesite and my husband was laughing his a**** off. He asked if I was that desperate to make money of my blog. So now I'm starting to get picky on what I write like for instance: $5 for three hundred words or same amount for fifty words. And one time, they had an opportunity about viagra. I don't think so.

I basically do it so I can have money for my digital scrapbooking hobby :)
I tried it once, but won't do it again. I don't have a problem with anyone else wanting to do it, but I just prefer to write what I really want to write. :D
