I haven't blogged about the gas prices. But I will say that www.gasbuddy.com is my friend! I try to check before heading out.
also my grocery store is selling gas with a 10cent per gallon discount if you spend over $100 on groceries.
The poor guy ahead of me at the gas pump got sticker shock the other day...he didn't have a grocery loyalty card for this store, but did for a different store. It makes quite a difference!
Hi. I posted about our 1600 mile trip last week to Northern California in our gross polluter (SUV). I cant even stomach typing how much our gas bill was. But, as I mention in my post, (http://www.apronstringsaflutter.com/?p=117) we weren't going to let it stop us. It had been too long since I had been "home". It was a great trip. A little painful at the pump, but a great trip.
I've not blogged about it on any of my specific blogs, but I have posted something about it on a marketing blog I contribute to. It's not much, but is gives a blurb on how consumers are going to more generic / store brands due to the expense at the pumps.
I refuse to give the gas prices any more attention, WHY? because it makes no difference. I did post about hypermiling, because it's a great idea. All in all though, i'm so disguted with the economy as it is that blogging about it would likely make me depressed lol.
I paid $4.60 for milk last night. it's short of highway robbery i tell ya.
I did this just today!! I found sort of a funny picture and just had to share it. It's funny but it's not. It's sad the direction that we're headed right now. Anyway, I tried to make light of it with my picture I posted today. It can be viewed at http://armyfamilyok.wordpress.com/2008/07/21/signs-of-the-times/ and let me know what you think about the sign!!
