I have my Free Birthday Treats blog and then my Free Birthday Treats website. This is regarding the home page to my website, so I hope this ok because I really needed some input here.
This guy has taken basically the content from my home page and hyperlinked it to a different site other than my three circle graphics.
I got the first link to come up with the birthday stuff but the second one came up to some site about building a social network? But I would do a whois and get ahold of their IP service provider and get it shut down. Make sure you let your IP service provider know as well. Also if you are using something like Blogger or WordPress (or whoever) get ahold of them also.
Good Luck
Well, I don't really know the criteria on how to handle this type of thing, but have you tried contacting him on it? I know that sounds like a simple reply, but if you call him out on it, he might change it. If not, it's your business and you might need to take it further then just contacting him. He is using your content as his own and he is linking to some site about social networking, which looks like a money scam. It could potentially hurt your business if he's not called on it.
