That is so funny.
Blues Clues came along at a time when my daughter was starting to grow out of the preschool shows. So she enjoyed it in the beginning but when Steve left and they brought Joe in she completely stopped watching. She said Joe was "cheesy and trying too hard."
I agree. Steve was a natural.

I have to vote for Steve on this one too. Both of my kids liked watching "Blues Clues" when they were younger. (My 14-year-old was actually singing the "Mail Song" the other day.) Joe was a deal breaker for my kids.

We couldn;t even watch Blues Clues after Steve left. it was too traumatic for my oldest son. In fact, when Steve left for college he was only two at the time so he asked what college was and why Steve had to go. I thought Great!! What a wonderful opportunity to start talking about the importance of college. I explained to him that it was school, just like his preshool and then when he was big like Steve he'd go too! Poor kid starting crying his eyes out saying he didn't ever want to have to move away from me. He said he NEVER wanted to go to college like Steve. Thanks Nickelodeon

My daughter just started watching Blues Clues and it came on in the morning with the original person 'Steve'.. and then again in the afternoon in the evening and I was 'uh' ok... some other guy is on it.. he didn't even like fit in the show, steve did maybe because were so used to seeing him always on that show.

Yeaaahhh, what is UP with those eyebrows? I like Steve waaay better, as well.

There was this show called "Yes Dear and the Mom on that show was having erotic dreams aboit Steve from watching it so much. The actor who plays him made a cameo and was telling her "It's okay, this happens all the time." LOL!! That show ruled!
