I want to purchase two domain names for a blog idea I'm going to wait a little while to start.... how and where are the best places to do this? I have a name and I think that both the .com and .net domains are currently available, so I'd like to hold them.

Thanks!

I just bought one at name.com, it was only $5.99 for the 1st year and I think it is $7.99/yr to renew after that. Still trying to figure out how I'm going to set it all up...
I think GoDaddy is the BEST place to get a domain, each Domain is from $9.99 down but you also get a free email account to go with your domain as well as a 5 page website! Can't beat that with a stick! :-)
If you are with Blogger you can buy your domain through them with GoDaddy. It's $10 for a year and you own & control the domain, so if you want to move it to another host you can. Plus they set up all the forwarding & stuff for you if you stay with Blogger
I've also used GoDaddy for any domain name I've registered - they make it very easy.
