While I am all about reviews, having done them myself, my google reader is full of reviews/ads/and giveaway blogs. I'd love to connect with some blogs that aren't all reviews. I don't mind a few here and there, but to read a blog that is more about parenting/marriage/spiritual stuff and add it to my Fave folder would be wonderful.

Anyone? Do you have a blog that is only 25% or less reviews and the rest of it is about life? Please share your link with me!

Thanks

PS:  Mine is Hidden Valley Simplicity with some book reviews between the "helpful", daily life posts.

I have had more reviews lately - particularly book reviews, but I make sure that I have regular 'blog' posts too... feel free to check out http://www.actingbalanced.com

Thanks,

I have only done a few reviews, and my Blog is pretty much all about my life and family! I will do a few here and there when they are something I really love, but I like to really write about inspirational things and my family! http://www.foreverslikeadream.com !
I don't do giveaways and the only reviews I give are on either blogs of interest, tools that bloggers can use, or some of the favorite items I have around the house that help me with cleaning, cooking, or whatever. Feel free to stop by!

I don't have any reviews in my blog. It's mostly about my training for my first 1/2 marathon in October, but it's also about being a Mom and raising 2 beautiful girls. Hope you enjoy reading my ramblings. I have really enjoyed blogging about my journey. I will check your blog out too!

I fit that category! Please come and check out Cherishing My Reality. :o)
Join me on my journey to train and run a half-marathon (no, I'm not a runner) after an incredibly indulgent pregnancy and 50 lb. weight gain. The blog was created more as just an opportunity to hold myself accountable but I hope that it is also an inspiration to others - as I have found many other bloggers as an inspiration to me! No reviews or giveaways - just an ordinary girl with an extraordinary goal. : )

Hi Charlotte! I just read this. It sounds like we have similar goals...my first half is in November (the one-year birthday of my little man). I look forward to following you!

My blog is about raising kids, family, children's gardening, a few spiritual takes, and just having fun! Hope you can stop by for a visit...I feel the same way, love to follow women and their stories!

Raising kids can be a lot like weeding the rose bed...well worth it, but...OUCH!

How about a humorous rate your husband type site.

I blog mostly about my life with a fun home-based business sprinkled in. I haven't done many reviews and I've really curbed on the ads on my blog. Nowadays, I'm mainly about interesting jewelry in my business and my adventures as a mom and non-traditional student. Feel free to check me out. I love to read blogs and follow those that follow me!

I wanted to stop worrying about everything equally and figure out what was likely to effect the average kid (like my four, triplets, 7, plus tween). So I started an info website and blog based on all my research. Now I don't overprotect, overspend, or overprogram my kids (well, not so much). I blog almost everyday (and I was one of the lucky ones that a publisher found and turned it into a book so I hope the blog stays helpful and funny.)
