Advertising

I haven't done any paid advertising on my blog yet, it is still new (about a month old).  I was recently contacted asking me what my advertising costs are.  I'm trying to figure out how much to charge, but I'm not sure.  
What kid of monthly charges do you all have (if you don't mind sharing)?  Or is there a certain low price that I should start out with and then increase as I get more followers?
