There are a ton out there! And there is so much variation. I have some in my sidebar that I participate in. The ones I find that are the most responsive are the smaller blog hops that ask questions. So you basically write a blog post answering questions like everyone else and then you visit the other participants to find out what they answered. They're more fun and interesting than a traditional blog hop. And, honestly, there is a lot more feedback and relationship building.
