So I just came to the realization that the majority of the mom
communities look the same and that got me thinking are all of these
communities connected and if so why is that I had sign up for three
sites that looked identical. 

Just wondering if anyone else knows if these communities are all connected or not.

Which three mom communities? You will find a lot of communities on Ning. That's what makes a lot of them similar.
Well the three that I joined were this one Twitter Moms and Bloggy Moms
All of our sites are built on the Ning platform. The Mom Bloggers Club has been around for quite some time...since 2007.
