I have had a facebook account pretty much since facebook started. I have been blogging since 2003 or 2004 - pretty much since blogger started. I had a personal webpage before then that pretty much functioned as a blog.

I got serious about my blog www.swedishamericanmamma.com about a year ago and now I am on pinterest, stumble, twitter and facebook. I got on Twitter about 6 months ago and got 50 followers without even putting a link on my blog. Now I have around 140 followers. I enjoy twitter and like to communicate with other bloggers via twitter. I like to Pin things. I have recently joined stumble so I guess I am just trying that out (if you stumble please follow - I included links above). Someone stumbled one of my pages so I figure it's worth a try.

For some reason I just can't get the same feeling from facebook. I have a really hard time keeping up with it so this week I decided to take the link off the blog. Who wants to joint a facebook page that only includes a blog feed?

So what do you think, do you have to be on facebook to be a successful blogger? Do you have a facebook page for your blog? Why or why not?

My page is still out there but I am thinking of taking it away altogether. It does not seem fair to my 70 followers (that I only got because of a giveaway) to not do anything with it.
