I made my baby food for both my kids (now 7 and 4.75).  It was easy, cheap, and cheap.  Did I mention cheap?  Even with today's produce and food prices, I think it is an economical choice.  I loved doing it and learned a lot about food and nutrition in the process.  Good luck with your choice!
