I've definitely had slumps before. What helps me is to carry a little notebook and write down various ideas as they come to me during the course of the day... or, sometimes I record a voice note into my phone and email the message to myself.
I have a huge notebook full of topics, many are just words that I can build off of or get ideas off of. I use things I go through. Its like it use to be with facebook, anytime someone took a pic the first thing they wanted to do was facebook! Well i do that now, wether its a conversation i have with someone or something I see, I prepare to blog about it. There's so many things to blog about out there, thats why I have trouble picking one.I just look at things Ive learned, need to learn, want to learn, things Ive seen and went through and write about it. Look up journal or writing prompts and even those will give you ideas. You dont have to write about that one thing specifically but it will lead to something else.
i need to start doing this. i have the notebook but the kids do not give me time to write it down. the best ideas come in the bathroom or bed time. and usually no time to write it then. i will do it and see what happens.

participate in meme's like Musical Monday, Random Tuesday, Wordless Wednesday etc.

Toss meme + a day into google and you'll find a topic that suits you. Be sure to comment on others in meme so you get comments & followers too
Sometimes I post to a meme I haven't played in a while. Sometimes I just blog about my slump. Everyone goes through them. But there are also lots of great places on the web with writing ideas to get your creative juices flowing. I also keep a notebook with me, and when something "bloggable" strikes me, I write it down.
If you've forgotten your note book, don't forget about your memo or notes app on your cell phone.

When an idea pops into your head, if at all possible, open a new post- write down whatever comes to you...just jot stuff down. Save it as a draft and you have a future post already started!

As far as those thoughts in the bathroom........I think best in the shower...so I keep a separate notebook in my bathroom for those times. I would forget the ideas otherwise!.

If I'm in the middle of a shower, I try a few word association games or make up a "song" about my idea....anything to keep it fresh in my mind until I can write it down.
