OUR DAILY PINS

Does anyone out there have advice on building a home business such as how to market, how to approach people, how to follow up without being pushy or bothersome? I totally believe in my products, but a sales gal, I am not! I'd love to hear from all you experienced home business people about what works for you and what doesn't! Please share :)

I have been in direct sales for over 6 years now and I really think you just have to take a deep breath and talk to people, and don't think that you are bothering them.  I am always respectful of other if they tell me that they are not interested or maybe later, but I am not big on forcing people to try my skincare line, even though I know they would love it if they did.  Just remember that they might love what you have to offer, but they will not know about it unless you tell them.  Good luck!

Whatever you do, believe in yourself and your product. I do some photography on the side. On a few occaisions I have not 'sold' myself as well. I did not gain the client, only to see the photos after and know that I could have done a better job. Defenitely believe in yourself.
