Now that I have the chance to voice my thought...I am at a stop light(in my head)! It did it a freeze on my thoughts! Ok so back to green which is GO...5,4,3,2,1. I have been wanting to say so much about women and what we have to go through. I have been under extreme pressure to preform for my family on a daily basis. Three kids ,a Hubby, dog and gato.Three different schools and 18 million different directions. Stress finally took a toll on my body. Yup it did it.. it (my body) shut down..Help call 911!! :O) That is exactly what happened and all I was told was that I ,me, Pala was having an ANIXIETY attack. Ok I get that but WHY??? Given Meds and sent home. To not olny figure this out by myself and do research on my own.YAY ME! But to continue function.EEKKK! I had been to the E.R. three times before that and all they could do was tell me it is aniexty. Well can you describe to me what anxiety is all about and why did it chose to appear so frequent? That is what I wanted to ask the docs.

After digging and searching I found something very intresting out. I had my thyroid removed 12 years prior well one lobe. And I am functioning on one gland which miraculously is functioning on its own (ThankGod). Well I had other symptoms like fatigue, loss of appetite, loss of weight, low blood pressure and a host of other things. I happened to come across a page after praying to get this mess figured out.. There it was all my symptoms! In the Endocrinology site Addisons disease!!??? Really, well I made an appointment with the drs. office and requested test to be done to my Adrenal Glands.Women to Women published...Last Modified Date: 04/15/2011
Principal Author: Marcelle Pick, OB/GYN NP

The adrenal response can be life-saving, and we need it to handle true crisis moments. But in today’s society, women are inundated with stress that doesn’t let up. And when chronic stress forces the adrenal glands to respond continually without any recovery time, two things can happen: either the adrenals start overproducing cortisol, which can lead to insomnia, anxiety, and the “tired and wired” feeling many women complain about, or they become depleted to the point that cortisol production can’t keep up with demand, which can cause fatigue, depression, fuzzy thinking, weight gain, cravings, and mood swings. In some women, this depletion becomes so severe they can barely get out of bed! And as if that weren’t enough, chronic high cortisol levels can damage healthy tissues, leading to more serious long-term health concerns.

Who would have thought? Well just a bit of info for you all..I am still waiting for my results.
