If you celebrate Christmas are you getting a little worried about being able to purchase gifts? Can you believe its only 7 weeks away???
This year has been difficult: my biggest client sold her business and I've not been able to find anyone to replace her, plus my husband did not have any work from May until October (it's contract work so we never know from day to day if he'll get calls) and that little bit goes for bills.
I always have big plans at the beginning of every new year, saying "I'm going to buy gifts and stash them away" but that isn't possible if there's no "extra" money to do that.
These are my plans for this season:
1. My daughters and I are going to make and bake different cookies, candies, and breads for close relatives. I am making each of my girls a doll (they like the dolls I try selling). These gift ideas don't cost anything extra since I have all of that on-hand already.
2. Give a huge discount on my virtual assistant services.
Do you have anymore recommendations? I'd like to hear what you're doing this year.
Thanks!
Stephanie
