Creating a blog to make people stick...

Hello everyone..

I have been reading all of your questions... I think they are great... I love blogging... I used to design handbags and I sold my business last year.. I started blogging because I was actually asked by a friend. I didn't have a clue what I was doing,but I knew a lot about the retail world. I have  a buyer/visual merchandising background as well as design. I have created 3 children's clothing lines and owned two stores. I asked myself "How was I going to get people to come and read what I have to say". As the saying goes "You build it they will come". Don't go into this venture thinking that you are going to be reviewing the 2010 BMW X5 (LOL)  but rather start small. Think about what you are good at.. Follow your heart and be honest with yourself and your followers. Create a space that represents you.. I wish you all, much success. I know you will all have success!
