Do you have a favorite independent bookstore? I am going to start featuring one a month. It can be a children's bookstore, a small town bookstore, a christian bookstore, etc - just please - no B&N or big box bookstore chain. I'd love to hear what makes them SO special, what you love about 'em.

My name is Becky Whitney. I live in Vermont and love The Yankee Bookstore in Woodstock, Vermont's oldest independent bookstore. I simply cannot find the books in-store that I can find there, and although they have some classics, they generally shy away from the traditional big sellers. I have found some of my kids' favorite books have come from there. I'd love to support them and give them some credit.
