Can someone please tell me where to find photos to add to my blog posts?  I keep seeing all of these funny/beautiful/artistic photographs on people's posts that haven't been taken by the writer, but I can't figure out where they got them from.  And many of them post every day, so I'm thinking they don't spend their entire lives scouring the net for pictures.

And on that subject, what's the protocol for adding an attribution to a photo?  If it's a stock photo, does it link to nothing and no one?  Thanks for the help!

Hello PartlySunny,

Try www.freedigitalphotos.com. Be sure to read the requirements for using the photos. You must give the photographer the proper photo credit.

I don't use it myself, but http://www.sxc.hu/ has a lot of stock photos, both free and premium :)
See my article on Mom Central's Blogger University about using stock photos - http://bloggeruniversity.momcentral.com/2009/08/say-it-better-with-.... I list several sources for free and cheap photographs you can use for blog posts.
Thank you all so much for writing back! I was sitting out here in cyberland for so long that I was beginning to think I'd asked some sort of taboo question. Anyway, thanks for the help.
