I have 2 giveaways going on my blog right now but I can't seem to generate enough entries.  I've tweeted about it, posted it on facebook, posted here in the giveaway section, etc.  How do you all promote your giveaways???

Like what you said Maranda, the easier the better.

Also a good way to generate entries or at least some traffic is to engage people actively. So per se you were giving away a perfume, I would try to search twitter or other social networks for people talking about how they hate a scent of particular perfume or how they thought they might have overpaid for something- then just simply reply you are doing a giveaway.

A "tip" for twitter would be to take advantage of the #hashtag. Did you know there are people actively on there who look for giveaways and retweet it out to their friends who also do the same? Try tweeting with #giveaway and #win at the end of your tweets for your promotion and see if that helps.

Good luck!

Motherhood is a Learning Journey

...This week has been a true test of my sheer will and strength as a mother--sending my 13-year-old, my first-born off on a 5-day retreat miles away, off the grid---no contact! It's been emotional--up & down--happy for him, worried for him, excited for him then missing him. Very much missing him.  And I survived. My Huz has survived (barely) & his younger brother (very bonded to him) also survived.  We missed him SO SO much!! But we love him and want him to experience…
