Google PR Help!

There may have been something posted about this, but I am currently NAKing and it is hard to type so I thought I would post new. My blog is growing by the day, but my Google PR just doesn't seem to be moving. Normally I am pretty savvy when it comes to web design and have ran several forums and sites, but never before did I care about Google PR until I returned to blogging. Google PR seems to be a big seller when pitching myself and I am just not sure what I need to do to increase that number. So what should I do? What have you done that worked in increasing your numbers? Any input would be greatly appreciated.

Your best course of action is to focus on your keywords and writing for your audience and less on PR.

What’s Google take on Pagerank? Quoting from the Google FAQ page:

“Don’t worry. In fact, don’t bother thinking about it.”

“Pagerank is just one of over 200 signals that can affect how your site is crawled, indexed and ranked.”

Barb,

Did you point your old blog address to your new address? I don't know if it is possible to do from blogger, but if you do a 301 redirect it should help Google know that you moved the pages/site over.

Thank you everyone, right now I am so busy with the holidays, but I have a few things that I am hoping will help boost my followers and links in. Hopefully by the time my blog is a year old Google will make up their mind on what they are doing with PR.
