Have You Been to Brazil?
This is our very first time going to Brazil. We're excited about going, but have no idea what to expect. In fact, we've never been to South America. This will be an entirely new experience.
For those of you who have traveled or lived in Brazil, what is it like? What are your recommendations for Rio?

I have been to Rio and my advice for any travel to South America is sunscreen and watch the water and dairy products. Inside the city you are usually pretty okay but I am still always really careful. Some of the best things to see are actually outside of the city out of the tourist areas there are people you can hire to take you around and its great there is such an amazing and beautiful culture too see. Be sure to take a while to see the churches and statues it is so amazing. Also if taking kids keep a very close eye on them period its not safe even for a minute.
