I started my blogging journey by guest blogging for another yoga site. I blogged about my cancer journey and it was actually very therapeutic. Since then I have guest blogged for several popular yoga sites as well as launched my own site http://www.madelineislandyogaretreats.blogspot.com I would be willing to guest blog for others if they would do the same for my new site... Looking for articles on green living, health and fitness, and especially stories on yoga - any interest?

I have been thinking a lot about this lately as well. I would love to have guest bloggers but would want them along the same theme as my blog but I would also be interested in guest posting for others as well.

I think guest blogging/bloggers are great.

Its kind of nice to get a refreshing take on things for your blog.

I haven't personally guest blogged yet, but would love to:P

I actually need about 5 guest posts for the week of April 4-8th, and I need them by the end of March.  If anyone is interested, email deidre@cuckooforcoupondeals.com  Any post would have your information at the top of the post, I'm looking for ways to save on vacations, ways to save money or how to coupon at specific stores posts.

Love guest blogging and having guest bloggers on my blog.  And yes I would write about the topic of my own blog so it's a relevant link back.  Guest blog posts should be unique and never posted anywhere before.

 

One of the guest blog posts I wrote was just published today if you're interested in reading it on the Reggae Marathon blog.

 

Personally I look for guest bloggers who have a blog in the same niche. I would not accept a weight loss/fitness post from someone with a blog about dolls or other various topics for example LOL

That's tricky. I did a guest post for a woman I adore. She and I are similar in a few ways so I was not really concerned when I accepted.  Then, as it became time to post, I had some anxiety.  My readers know <i>me</i> and my sense of humor.  I wasn't sure my friend's readers would. I went semi-safe and wrote all the ways we were alike and how much anxiety I had over guest posting at all.
