I always assumed they were the same thing, so I would be interested to hear if they are actually different things.

I know. No one has answered and I cannot seem to figure it out. I follow some blog but that does not mean that I get their feeds while others I do get the feeds but I not signed up to follow. I am not sure of the difference. Why follow a blog if you are not getting the feeds or a subscriber? I just cannot wrap my head around it.
