How do you get these Blog Awards

Awards are a sort of chain letter in essence. As you start getting established and visiting more and more blogs, you'll find someone will pass it on to you. Typical awards require you to link the blog that awarded you, request that you do a meme of sorts (i.e. 5 things you are grateful for, list 10 random things about you, etc), and then you have to list up to 10 people in which to pass it on to. You'll have to list their blog names with links to those pages. And so on.

Awards aren't really "awards" per se as much as a way for everyone to get their names and blogs out there and available (and possibly introduced to new ones) to others to find you.

Ways to get out there: join Entrecard, sites like this one, and comment, comment, comment on other's blogs. It's a lot of work, but soon you'll have a following.
