You have to contact them and ask if you can do a  review of their product, I have found the best results from sites that put reviews and companies together.

I have blog prior to this but took a break. Can you tell me the name of these sites. My blog right now is very new so I may have to wait before I get any responses.

The way I started out was to do a couple of self-sponsored giveaways, just to work the bugs out and to be able to show an example to companies of what I could offer in terms of giveaway promotion and entries.  It was a lot more work involved than I had realized!

Then, whenever I won a product as a prize at a Twitter Party, or liked a product really well, I wrote a letter to that company's customer relations or media relations department explaining that I liked that product very much, and why, and that I had a blog and would very much like to do a review and giveaway of that product. (That's how I got the first giveaway sponsor.)  Basically, once you get your Facebook fanpage fans over 500 and your Twitter followers over 1000, that seems to be when companies get more interested. 

 

So you have to send "pitch" letters describing what you can offer to companies who sponsor a review/giveaway on your blog.

 

There are also blogger networks/organizations that have campaigns for companies seeking bloggers - and some of them don't have a minimum for Facebook or Twitter or pageviews.

I started blogging in July 2008, but did my first giveaway around April 2011.  In the meantime I was building up my blog to be content-rich.  So even though it's frustrating sometimes to see the fantastic giveaways that some bloggers can offer - if you look at their stats, you can see that they can offer the sponsors a large readership base - and therefore pull in the big fish in terms of prizes and sponsors.

 

Just be patient.  Eventually you'll get there!

And in the beginning, if you don't get alot of entries, try posting the giveaway at tightwadinutah.com  they have a listing for low-entry giveaways.

You look for what company you would like to review ex. fisher price, nintendo etc you try to find the media contact or public relations contact (PR) and you send them a pitch letter.  or you can sign up to bloggerdise and link up with company through there. thats how i did it and got to review gyro bowl.

Try Tomoson.com. Some of them have no stat requirements!
