I hope this isn't a verboten question. I'm just wondering what the average is.
I'm pretty new - not yet four weeks, but I guess I've been averaging over 100 per day.

Wow! Let me know your secret. I wanna know.
Not offended by the way, just want to know how to increase my traffic.
Um, I just constantly accost my facebook friends with links :D
Also, I get hits from responding to things on Wordpress and from commenting on other blogs that fit in my interest area.
I was doing really well the first week, but things have been dwindling since then. I guess Thanksgiving didn't help - people seemed to be thankful I wasn't badgering them w/ my links ;)
Hey,
That's awesome! I love your writing by the way, was trying to follow you, but didn't find a place on your blog for it.
BTW - your "What Have I Done???" post was hysterical :D :D
I tried to add the Google thing, but it wasn't working for me!!
I'll try again - I'm obviously challenged in this arena :D
There is an email subscribe button on the sidebar, though...I think it's under the Page Views number.
I will add you to the email subscribe. Thanks!
Oh,
I was going to say that I had problems adding the google friends at first too. I had to grab the embed code from my google friends account; then go into Wordpress, pull a text widget to the sidebar where I wanted it, and finally paste the embed code in the text widget. Don't forget to press the save button at the bottom of the text widget where you pasted your code otherwise it won't save and show up on your website. Don't know if that helps any. Good luck. I also wanted to ask you how you got your Stumble button to show up at the bottom of your page. I'm not a techie either, and all this is new to me too. Thanks!
That's what I did! I guess I didn't save it because it nothing showed up - just blank space. I'll go back and try your suggestion, thanks!!

I just re-order my text widgets whenever I add something new. I might have to get rid of the BF Directory since they rejected me - so silliness about having to be 3 months old :D When you add the text widgets you can chose the number placement of them - did that make sense?
Gah! That still didn't work - it just shows all the code on my side-bar :(
Hmmm...you've got me there then. Check to make sure you copied everything I have between the words and below. Also, check to make sure that the text widget either before or after your google widget is closed (starts with <> and ends with </>). You can usually drag the text widget anywhere you want on the sidebar, at least that's how I did it. I hope that helps. Let me know if it worked.
Ok - supposedly Google Friends doesn't work w/ wordpress.com (the free one)? I just added Feedburner instead.
*throws hands in the air*
