I have a blog but need to know how to get more traffic to come to my blog page. PLEASE HELP

Hello,

I have had a blog for over a year now and I'm not seeing alot of traffic. How do I go about getting more people to read my blog and of course continue to come back? Please check out my blog and let me know what you think. http://www.puredymondsevents.blogspot.com

Hi there. I think your blog is fine :) I have only been blogging for three weeks and have 60 followers. I got them just by visiting other blogs and joining blogging sites. I would search for a topic I was interested in, leave comments and then those people would visit my blog back. I've made many friends that way. I always put the URL of my blog at the bottom of my comments so people can just visit my blog and they have the website name right there for them so they don't have to look it up :) Hope that helps. Good luck to you :)

Alaina has great answers~ Visit lots of blogs, and leave lots of comments. Of course, pay attention to your content. If your post is not something you would want to read on someone else's blog, consider how to make it interesting. Participate in memes. That can generate traffic because if they like your meme post, they may come back to see your other posts.

Link to your blog within your posts. For example, if you are doing Thursday 13, one of your 13 might be a link to a previous post of your own. And, of course, tweet your new blog posts.

If you do a giveaway, one of the entry requirements could be to leave a comment on a separate non-giveaway post. Just some ideas.
