Homes everywhere need cleaning - but few homeowners have the time and energy required to scrub surfaces day in and day out. Mom’s, in particular, are overburdened - and as a result, many are turning to semi-regular cleaning so that their place stays spotless.…

Baby Showers: The Next Big Thing

Like so many modern celebrations, Baby Showers have arrived in the UK from North America. It’s a real tradition over there and, like High School Proms, Halloween and Black Friday, one of those exciting social events that is catching on big time over here.

The idea is simple but universally appealing. Throw a party for the pregnant mother and her…

I'm a little confused about what the "journey" is that you're inviting me to start? The jewelry looks neat.

Thanks for the advise leslie! I added more!

Hi there! I just checked out your blog and I think it is a great idea but i just thought i would let you know my honest first impression and advice I think will help. I wish I had someone who would check out my blog and do the same for me. Here goes:

Okay the first thing I noticed when i got on your blog is that you have quite a bit of HUGE TEXT. This was very distracting and takes away from the page quite a bit. I wasnt sure exactly what I was looking at because the first whole paragraph is giant text. Also i still don't even know exactly what your blog is about because you have no clear and simple  description of what it is and what you are offering, all that i gathered was that it was something about jewelry, then you lost me with something about ground floor something rather and asking me to sign up right away. When people click on a site and the first thing they see is sign up now, the immediatly click back out of it 99% of the time because you did not spark their interest. I think you need to add a clear and consise blog description with a heading that helps describe what you are offering. When people search for something it is because they are looking for something, if they dont find it right away or are told that what they are looking for is included in your content, then they click back out immediatly. Your goal is too get them to stick around. Another thing I noticed is you have a lot of broken links and all your pages don't work, i couldn't view any of them, which is another thing that makes people leave imediatly. Here is a great site that crawls your site for you and tells you what you can improve, its free and you dont have to sign up or anything, just type in your URL and away you go. Here is the link: http://tools.summitmedia.co.uk/spider/ It is a great tool. Other than the things I suggested, your site looks great. Just remember to keep it simple and consice. While you may think that that stuff is cute, it is distracting on a website. People like things that are too the point and short and easy to read. Also, to generate traffics visits through a search engine you MUST include keywords in your titles and within your site. Jewerlly obviously being one of your main keywords. While it is tempting to make cute and catchy titles, it actually works against you in the blogging world because search engines and readers do not know right away what your article or post is about. Remember they came to your site for a specific reason, they are looking for something and they want to know if you have it right away. The boring and plain titles work best. The most search engine and readers friendly tried and true titles are ones like "How to ......", 10 ways to _____", "Secrets to _____" and others along those lines. Sounds boring but works great, that is why every magazine you pick up also uses these headlines, because they work. Search SEO (Search Engine Optimization) to find out other ways to optimize your traffic through search engines. Now it would be GREATLY appreciated if you would check out my blog and let me know your HONEST opinion and give me some constructive criticism, it is http://www.moonstruckmama.wordpress.com/  Oh and I also am following your blog now:) Now go check out mine!

I'm relatively new to blogging.  Can someone tell me what Ping is and how it might help my blog?  I would really appreciate any advice to tell me how I can enhance my blog.

Thanks so much-

Hey,

I just checked out your blog.  I really enjoyed your content, and I liked your photo selection.  I think that you should add a "follow" link on your page because not everyone wants to receive emails.  It's also nice to know what blogs your follow.  I know that I like to check out who my favorite bloggers follow and I often go read those blogs.
