For an interesting read this weekend, you might enjoy this article from the New York Times about the owner of the blog Dooce.com (14,989 Alexa ranking). She's had some challenges along the way, but today her blog is pulling in $50,000 in revenue per month.

I love Heather, she's a great person. I love her family and her children but she needs to place it out there, very carefully, that when you start a blog. Don't expect to be Dooce.
