Amy, I love you current post about your oldest son. My oldest son used to love dolls- and my cousin's son took tap dancing lesson and insisted on wearing his sparkled vest to school every day for a year when he was ten. He also painted his nails and loved pink. Everyone said he was going to turn out to be gay...FYI, he didn't. He was just the kind of kid who was completely comfortable exploring his own environment which was great. Boys and girls should be allowed to push through gender barriers, and it's usually their parents who fence them in.
So kudos to you for letting your son be who he wants to be!
