Hoarding: When Too Much is Truly Too Much

We’re all quite aware of what clutter is and how it can not only adversely affect how our household functions, but also how it can also have a negative impact on our health. But this isn’t the full extent of how bad things can actually get.…

More choices does make it hard to make the right decision, but it also means the ability to select what's best for your family instead of following the crowd.

Exactly. But sometimes I want to raise my kid like how my parents raised us - but I think the ways they raised us are no longer applicable with my daughter. So I'm just sticking to what I feel, think and know is right for her hoping that I am doing everything right.

That really depends on your perspective. What makes it challenging to me is not only are there more options for us as parents, there are more options for kids as well. There is a lot of information to decipher.

I agree with you - to decipher is not as easy as reciting the alphabet though. We have to be smart moms to know what's good and what's better for our little ones. Right now, our kids are a lot smarter than our generation. Times are changing, we still need to adapt and learn to incorporate the old ways with what's new these days.
