It is really that hard to get people to follow your blog?

I go on people's blog and see them have all these followers on their blog, and me, I  know I started a month ago but I only have 12 followers...Wonder if I am doing something wrong??

Feel free to visit!!! thanks...

I agree that it is difficult to get people to follow your blog. The few that I have following my blog is by being a participant on MBC follow me link. I follow people back who follow me.

Hello fellow Mom Bloggers Club Members!!

This is a very supportive and encouraging group and I hope you'll be right at home.  I would love to connect with you and share ideas and stories.  I actually have 2 blogs that I run simultaneously.  My green blog is:

My funny, snarky, silly blog is called Mom Rants and Comfy Pants

Subscribe and follow one or both.  Either way, comment and introduce yourself and I'll be happy to follow you back!!

Hi Penny,

I like your Mom's Rants and Comfort Pants blog. It was very interesting and clever. I especially love the title. Very cute. I also followed and I liked both of your Facebook pages. Please feel free to visit my “See Why I Buy” blogs and Youtube channel and please subscribe.

I had a peek and I enjoyed my visit. I love the inspirational stores you shared from the My 600 Pound Life show. I enjoyed the recipes and the crafts post as well. Personally I feel while building the initial burst of traffic isn't always easy it does get better with time. Your on the right track by joining a bloggers network which is sure to help build your audience.I find you'll also get many visits from posting comments on others similar blogs that are interesting and genuine to the content posted. I do have to mention thought I personally find blogspot a PITA simply because I don't use anything of those networks and therefore it will not let me post comments.

you have be more socially active advertise your blog at the most you can refer friends and co workers try to make it visually strong add best of content give the best you can

I Just followed your blog :) Link for mine is :

I am in the same boat, I began in March, so far I have spent most of my time designing my blog (totally new to all of this + 2 lo's at home)  barely having much time to write!  LOL.  but I am trying to get out there and network.  I will gladly follow as many as I can on this post and see if it helps!

Also I just took my daughters senior portraits...we are super happy how they turned out

I have the same issues, people are on my page daily but there are no follows .... any advice would be great !

There have been quite a few excellent replies already in this thread! The best advice I could give you to help give your blog and social network follower count up, is to begin with your family and friends. Invite them to follow. Facebook is like magic, when you publish an update, any of your friends or family who like/comment on your post - their friends (followers) will take notice so it's like a ripple effect. Whenever you publish an update on Facebook, make sure to include a link to your blog and every once in a while (not too often to avoid looking spammy) invite them to follow your blog & other social networking profiles.

Hope that adds to the already good advice posted here!! :)

I just started blogging, thank you for all these wonderful tips! I love posting everyday!
