Just switched to my own domain - bye bye blogspot
Just need to share my breaking news...I just switched my blog over to my own domain! I had owned the domain for a few years (to make sure no one else took my blog name) but was a bit freaked out to switch it over.
Honestly, I thought I'd lose my bacon or cause armageddon or (shudder) crash my site.
But I did it!
Still using blogger as my platform but publishing on www.parentclub.ca
Has anyone else done this? Do google rankings go down significantly?
p.s. if I'm on your blogroll - could you kindly switch the link...thanks

on Aug 23 10 ;)
changing wasn't hard, but going back to all my sites and changing my urls is the hard work part, aside from now working on my stats again lol

How do you check your google ranking? When I type in parentclub.ca google isn't finding me now (is it that?) however if I type in www.parentclub.ca - there I am at the top of the google search.
I've pinged the new site and put on twitter that if anyone has me on their blogroll to redirect the link.
Despite the ranking issue - I'm pretty happy to look all professional with my own domain.
