I have a son who is turning 1 year old and he doesn't want to drink water or juice. He just wants to breastfeed. I would really like to get him to drink some fluids! He doesn't even want to take breastmilk from a bottle. I've tried everything, like water in a bottle, sippy cup, regular cup, with a straw, but nothing. He will maybe take a sip and then stare at me like its the worst drink on earth, obviously he doesn't want it. I had the same thing with my little guy. After he turned one, I finally started giving him soy milk in a sippy cup and he loved it (ok, it took a few times, but now he adores it - he's 15 months). Once he was turned on to the soy milk, he moved on to liking water, too. I also lessened the frequency of nursing, which I think made him thirstier. Good luck!
