Okay, so I have an, admittedly dumb, question.
How can I see the link's the people's blogs here? I mean if I see posts from a person (and they don't link to their blog within the unique post) is there a way to click and see their blog?
I am missing something, I think.

No, your not missing something. LOL it is kind of a pain but you have to actually go to there profile to find the blog. I find it annoying.

It is tricky to find. Click on the person's picture, then scroll down most of the page until you see a box labeled Profile Information. There it will list the URL. Not entirely obvious! I would prefer it to be maybe linked in your signature or at least higher up and on the left of your profile.
