Mom Bloggers Club: Connect With Over 16,000 Mom Bloggers

When the kids ask you those "WHY?" questions, what do you answer?

You could say, "Because I said so," but that leaves a nice opening for the kid to respond, "WHY?"

My mother always answered, "It says so in the Mother's Handbook."

The rumored Mother's Handbook told us we needed to keep our rooms neat. It told us we needed to wear clean underwear everyday.

Since I can't find my (any) copy, I am trying to recreate it on my website. Hopefully, there will eventually be a page where you can send your kids and say, "SEE! I told you it said that!"

I am asking everyone to drop a comment with their favorite "Momism." Anything from eating veggies to carrying an umbrella in the rain. Anything your mom used to foist off on you with a "Because I said so!"

Every entry gets a link to your blog, so it's a win-win situation. And once a week I'll pick my personal favorite and award a prize (currently, a copy of Erma Bombeck's "When God Created Mothers").

Please help!
