Permalink Reply by Madison O'Sullivan on April 8, 2011 at 10:13pm I often received remarks from non blogging friends.. they said that I am wasting time doing blogging and revealing a lot of myself to strangers all over the world.. but to me, blogging is a kind of passion where we can rant out our feelings, seeking views and opinions and at the same time making friends with everyone who think like I do.. lol..

Permalink Reply by Jenina Marie on April 14, 2011 at 1:15pm My family & some friends still haven't made the leap to a "paperless" lifestyle & get most of their information/entertainment from newspaper & television.
My parents especially use the computer strictly for things like emailing & research so the term "professional blogger" was not something they could relate to. I asked them to subscribe to my site so they can read me the way they would their favorite columnist everyday! They read it now because it is delivered directly to their in-boxes!
Their attitude toward online entertainment got me to thinking about ways to make my blog accessible even to those who don't read "blogs". RSS feed subscriptions definitely makes that happen for me because a demographic of those who only really use the internet for email still can get and read my columns!
They don't think anything, because I haven't told them! And from the responses here, I probably won't!
