Hello ladies!

I had a quick question for you. A company has gotten a hold of me to do a review and contest. Not to get too into detail what it is, they want to send the prize specifically to a soldier who is overseas and wish for proof of deployment.
On my blog I keep a low profile when it comes to my family and where we are, and I know that many others do to, so I hesitate to ask for someone's deployment papers as proof.
Any suggestions on how to go about getting the proof without getting the deployment papers? Military families: what do you think about someone asking for proof of deployment and have you seen this practice being done before?

Do you know and trust this company? I won't say it hasn't been done and you should be able to send a copy of orders but I am wondering why deployment only... Almost every soldier has been deployed at some point at this time.... Why not proof of military only? Not many Commanders are going to approve giving a company proof of deployment either. I would ask them what is expected in that portion of the contest... and why?
