Question for those who do giveaways
How long does it take for people to start entering? I am afraid my giveaway is gonna be a bust. I posted it on a sweepstakes site. Even though my brain is broken tonight and I kinda messed up the posting on the sweepstake site. I don't wanna look like a failure on my first one.

In my experience it has to do with the product. It really all depends how well the product is and how much you put the word out there. Having a good amount of followers/traffic is a plus as well. The product also has to reach a certain group (like baby food will only be geared towards those using baby food or know someone who does) so that takes out those that do not use that type of product. I have been doing giveaways for over a year now and I have some hit the 900 entries mark and some hit 20 it really just all depends. I hope that makes sense and helps.
And you are not a failure if there is low activity on that giveaway just keep plugging away and it will eventually build.
