New year, new you, new activities for your kids. Is this is the year that Sam wants to learn to play the violin? Or Suzie wants to take up dancing? Or you need to find John a new lacrosse camp? It can be tough navigating all the options for classes, programs and camps. In 2018, let other moms…
So I joined MBC last week and I enjoy all the new blog I'm following and all the new followers I have. But one slight complaint I have is a lot of the blogs are nothing more then giveaways and coupon blogs.
Are there any bloggers out there that stick with general mommy topics, crafts, reading, marriage?
If so I want to follow my blog and exchange I think you'll enjoy my blog.
Grandmas are mommies, too. If you'd like to read the Grandma (ie been-there, done-that mama) perspective, check out my blog, Grandma's Briefs, http://www.grandmasbriefs.com/. I think you'll be surprised -- no crocheted doilies or "my sweet honey bunch" from this grandma!
I don't know if I responded to thread yet or not, but I have a real blog! I am a new mom, as well as a literacy instructor and researcher at Columbia University. I've been blogging about how to read and write with babies and toddlers. It's mostly ideas for reading and writing that I have been trying out with my daughter, Lily, who is now 9 months old, but we've been reading and singing and storytelling form day one! I don't advertise or sell anything on my blog, it's just for information and ideas!
If you care about reading and writing with your little ones, check out my blog!
Amen! Over the years I have watched my favorite blogs become so filled with giveaways and samples they no longer have a voice. So sad I think. I, too hope to keep it mom real and to share the ups and downs. And not what I have to give away free.
