I desperately need advise, I have two sponsors that have not fulfilled giveaway prizes. They will not respond to emails and do not have phone numbers listed, how do I rectify the situation?

One of the sponsors told me prizes were being shipped on 12/10 and I have not heard anything since. The other was suppose to ship on 12/13, finally responded back to me on the 1st stating she was busy and forgot. She asked for the winners email to personally apologize and offer a substitution (since it was a holiday item). The winner still has not heard anything from her.

I can not afford to purchase these items for the winners myself, nor want to put additional money in their pockets. What do I do?

Man, that stinks! Can you possibly send a consolation prize like a small Amazon gift card or something else along with your apologies to the winners? I am sure that they will understand if you explain the situation.
I one of the winners a gift card this morning, the other giveaway had 5 winners...I am going to keep trying to contact them for now.

Give the giveaway winner a way to contact the giveaway person so you can both get on harrassing them to fulfill their obligation? I don't know...if it doesn't get resolved soon, I'd apologize and be really honest & make them realize that it isn't your fault.
Other than continuing to harass the people providing the giveaway, what else can you really do?
This, of course, is coming from a girl that hasn't quite completed her first giveaway...so grain of salt...
Put a disclaimer on your site that says if a sponsor fails to ship a prize that you will send them the next unclaimed prize on your site (or whatever you want to do) so that you aren't personally responsible.

And I would absolutely put a post on my blog apologizing for your sponsor not fulfilling their commitment. Just seems crazy to me, we blogger spread things like this like wildfire. It could really hurt a small company.
I actually do have a disclaimer stating I am not responsible for prizes not fulfilled by sponsor. I just feel terrible getting peoples hopes up, so I try to make it right.

I have edited the giveaway post, stating the winner did not receive her prize. On a good note, One of the sponsors finally shipped out the prizes to the winners. Posh Little Tutu's have not.
