I have a new post on my blog from a 17yr old talking about the bratty behavior of kids her age and how this behavior disrupts the classroom setting. You won't believe the audacity that kids have now. When I was in school, we wouldn't have dreamed of talking back to teachers like some kids do now.

This, in my opinion is a parenting issue as much as it is anything. Kids become spoiled at home and the result is they act disrespectfully to authority outside of the home.
