For 2018, Make Finding the Right Activities for Your Kids Your New Year’s Resolution

New year, new you, new activities for your kids.  Is this is the year that Sam wants to learn to play the violin? Or Suzie wants to take up dancing? Or you need to find John a new lacrosse camp? It can be tough navigating all the options for classes, programs and camps.  In 2018, let other moms…

What are some tips/tricks you have learned while you have been blogging that you would recommend to a new blogger? I'm still kinda new and I would love some tips. Also, feel free to look at my blog and give me your honest opinion. Constructive criticism accepted :) I've only been doing it for a week, so I KNOW it's nowhere close to perfect. I would love feedback from experienced bloggers!

To be really honest, I would highly recommend you hurry away from Blogspot and onto your own domain and get your own hosting.  Blogger has had tons of issues lately and if you ever want to host giveaways and seek sponsors, most like to see you have your own domain.  Many pass you over for having a Blogger blog.  If I could jump in the time machine, I'd do that for myself!  Build your brand and your followers, page rank, etc. on your own domain.  This is especially true if you plan to make money with your blog.
Thanks! I've been hearing that a lot, and i DEFINITELY plan to do that over the summer, I just can't right now. I know it's not a ton of money but i seriously cant even afford a few extra bucks since im not working right now :( But i will take your advice the first chance I get. Is there any other free blogging site I could use that is better than blogger?

Lots of people like Wordpress, but I hear they're more picky about advertising.  I would monetize very slowly and if you look into Adsense, make sure you read *everything*.  Technically, even tossing up a Swag Bucks post that aligns with ads is a violation.  It is your responsibility to know their rules and they can change them any time they want.

You have a great start! I would limit some of the widgets you have on your sidebar. It feels cluttered. I would focus on building content, followers and such before focusing on making money. I am instantly turned off by a blog with too many ads and clutter.

Also, I follow a blog with tons of tips on creating a great blog. Check him out! http://willwork4followers.danoah.com/

Good Luck!

Here's a great website that can help you with your blog design.

My website is on blogger and I've never had a problem being contacted for reviews/giveaways. I do have my own domain name and its routed to my blogger site.

I would also say figure out what your niche is. I wish I had done that when I began my blog so it wasn't all over the place.
