I am really new to this too! But I love all the new friends I am making! I know someone said they are into cloth diapering and all natural parenting! I think that is becoming a huge topic. I like to blog about going green too. Its not what my whole blog is about but I have going green tuesdays!

You guys are sure rocking the perks- I had to earn my vacays the old fashioned way and win them. ;)
Would welcome tips esp how to fit more hours in my day.

Did get a flip to review though and some toys- and a few coming up. Would welcome more, though.

I started blogging in January 2009 and the PR contacts are just now starting to roll in weekly - I blog about food, so that's what my free stuff consists of.

Is there a point when you say, "look, I need more than food do to this review for you". That's how I'm feeling lately, especially since I'm starting to feel flooding by PR.

So far I have only been receiving small things that I test and review. I would love to go bigger. I really need a new laptop...do you think it's a total longshot to approach a computer company with a request? I mean I was on Momdot the other night listening to a Blog Talk Radio show about PR and they were saying find the recent press releases from a company {Google it} and look for the PR company contacts at the bottom of the press release. Contact them with a personal letter about why you would love to try their product and how you would use it/put it to the test! Of course also tell them about you, your life, and your blog info. Do you think a company would actually give you a big ticket item just like that? I feel afraid to ask!

The best blog perk I've ever received is the knowledge that someone read my blog, LOL! New to blogging, I haven't the blog prowess that so many of you have, which I/we are aspiring to. (I say "we" because my blog is actually shared with one of my greatest friends and we both post thoughts every week. That's another story entirely!).

So for now, Satisfaction is my perk.

Mom bloggers are constantly getting treated like online royalty from receiving free products for review, getting exclusive discounts and giveaway opportunities and even being flown all over the country for corporate trips. What is the best perk you've ever received as a mom blogger?
