The biggest mistake I've made as a blogger was....

Whether we like it or not, there is a learning curve to mom blogging. No one's perfect and that means sometimes we make mistakes. What is the biggest mistake you've ever made as a blogger?

Having my blog email connected to my old email through google. I use my personal email more than I should since I can't change my email on google. Still trying to figure all of that out.

I'm right smack in the middle of this right now!! I have a ton of "followers" but I can't get a response from a "reader" to save my life!! :(

Making "promises" that I don't have time to keep... "Come back tomorrow for a giveaway" (and then I don't have time to get it all posted) or "Later today...a Safety Post" (and then life happens and I can't get it posted). Not that I think people are sitting on the edge of their seats waiting for it, but it just seems like it would turn me off to a blog if they say something is coming and it doesn't. I have to stop myself from this!!

Not being consistent. I'd always start off well, but my posts became more sporadic over time. Reading my "Insights Report" on FB really helped me to see the correlation between consistency & readership....during the times when I wasn't consistent, my readership was the absolute lowest. Now I've started another blog and I'm really hoping I remain consistent, lol!!!

Started my blog to update my relatives who are abroad and also to write some memories. Little did i know that it is open to public. After reading some comments from readers that i didnt know, i started to share everything i discover, tips on everything i encounter, my life etc...

Not getting a domain name for my blog is one of the biggest mistakes i made, i would have loved to be on .com. Secondly i was a newbie and those that knew never told me that i should use my blog name as my URL, instead i used my Last name. But thanks to God that i still get OPP despite that and is not in any way affecting my blog..

accepting more tasks than I had time , now stuck with some 13 reviews dating back to sept . Never doing it again. First prioritizing my family plans and then taking the tasks.

I think my recent giveaway was disappointing. It was at a time when I din't have time for my site and so didn't promote the giveaway much. I think I will wait a little while until I do it again, and do it interdependently with a sponsor.
