I am not even sure where to go with this but am thinking maybe some experienced bloggers may have advice.Let me say first ... I am in love with my blog! I love the therapy it brings me, the friends I have reconnected with and the new friends I am connecting to. So it is breaking my heart that I may have to stop or change things.
It seems a former family member of my husbands (alright ... ex wife of 20 years) has been "tuning in" and to make a long story short, has been harassing me and others by spreading some pretty nasty lies and libelous nonsense. I of course blocked her but she went so far as to make up fake email accounts and tries to get through. Of course I can delete it but it is truly upsetting to me. There must be a way that I can keep doing what I am doing without succumbing to her fear tactics. Anyone have any words of wisdom?
Thanks ...
Hi, Kathy! I had a problem with a blog stalker as well who followed me to 3 different sites. I found a great tool to block his IP here: http://toolator.com/ It blocks up to three IP addresses for free and redirects them to any site you wish! I hope that helps :)
I like this better than toolator because you can add a message that pops up when she tries to visit your page. And you can add as many IP address's as you want.
I had the same thing happen with a relative who is not mentally stable. She left comments on my that is geared to family friendliness that we not very friendly or nice etc... I had to put the moderator on the comments area. I did apologize to my readers but all my regular readers understood. Good Luck

Thank you everyone. I need to find her IP address again. I deleted her comments and am happy to report it has been almost a week without harassment ... maybe she is getting a life or is real busy with Turkey and leftovers! ;)
